OST Composing Jam #7 - "An Ending"

The prompt image (not pictured) and text (inside my world) absolutely screamed "The tension between memory and dream, and how they become the same as we age," so I knew it had to be in Dorian. Otherwise, I started with the piano melody and filled in with voice where I thought necessary. 

My biggest musical inspiration for this was Ravel's Pavane de la belle au bois dormant, but I was also very visually inspired by Ponyo. 

Software wise, it was written and mixed in Cubase. It's just the 1 track, 3:04 runtime, so short and sweet.

Cover image is a slightly digitally retouched piece by me called "Worship."
